The ASUS PQG-U1080 is a ProArt network switch that gives a home studio or small office a fast wired backbone without a pricey enterprise setup. If you want a cheap way to move past gigabit speeds, this is a great deal to grab.

Faster transfers for big files

• 8 x 2.5G ports connect PCs, NAS drives and workstations at speeds above standard gigabit.
• 2 x 10G ports give you high-speed uplinks to a server, storage or another switch.
• SFP+ support adds flexibility for fibre or direct-attach connections.
• No embedded battery and a light body of 0.43 kg make it easy to place in a rack, on a shelf or on a desk.

A good fit for creators, photo and video editors and anyone running a NAS who is tired of slow file copies. Buy it when you are ready to upgrade your wired network.
