Description
A DisplayPort to HDMI adapter lets you connect a computer's DisplayPort or Mini DisplayPort output to a TV, monitor or projector with an HDMI cable. It works one way — from DisplayPort to HDMI. A passive adapter needs DP++ (Dual-Mode) support from the source, while an active adapter converts the signal itself.
The active chip converts the signal reliably even when the video source does not support DP++ (Dual-Mode).
