D-Link DGS-1016S 16-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Desktop Switch

Need more wired connections without a complicated setup? The D-Link DGS-1016S is a cheap, simple way to add 16 Gigabit ports to your desk, and it is a great deal for anyone building out a home office or small workspace.

Plug in, connect, done

• 16 RJ-45 ports at 10/100/1000 Mbps give you room for PCs, consoles, NAS drives, printers and more.
• Unmanaged and plug-and-play: no configuration needed, just connect your cables.
• Energy-saving design: power use drops automatically on ports with little or no traffic, and cable-length detection helps conserve energy further.
• Silent operation: the energy-efficient design generates less heat, so the desktop unit can run quietly.

A good fit for home offices, study setups and small teams that want fast wired connections at a sensible price. Note that it does not provide PoE, so choose it for standard Ethernet devices.
