A Cat 5e patch cable connects a computer, router, switch, printer, TV or games console to the local network. It covers an ordinary gigabit home or office network and is the everyday choice for hooking up a desk or a network cabinet.
In F/UTP cable all pairs sit under a common foil screen, which cuts interference near power cables, motors or heavy equipment.
