Description
Outdoor cable takes the network beyond the building — to an outbuilding, a gate, an outdoor camera or an external Wi-Fi access point. It is cut to the lengths you need and fitted with plugs or sockets at the ends.
In S/FTP cable each pair has its own foil and the whole cable has an overall braid, giving good protection from interference even in dense cabling or near electrical equipment. PiMF (pairs in metal foil) means exactly that: each pair has its own metal foil.
