Description
A DVI adapter links a monitor or graphics card with an older DVI port to newer HDMI or DisplayPort equipment without changing the cable. DVI carries picture only, so sound has to be connected separately if needed.
Both ends are sockets, so the adapter joins an HDMI cable to a DVI cable.
