MikroTik RB5009UG+S+IN Router, Quad-Core 1.4 GHz, 10G SFP+

The MikroTik RB5009UG+S+IN is a compact wired router with a quad-core 1.4 GHz CPU and a 10G SFP+ cage. It is a cheap way to get home-lab or small-office performance that goes well beyond a basic gateway, so it is a great deal for anyone outgrowing a consumer box.

Power, ports and flexibility in one small case

• 9 wired ports: seven Gigabit Ethernet, one 2.5G Ethernet and one 10G SFP+, all linked to the switch-chip over a 10 Gbps full-duplex line.
• Three ways to power it: PoE-in on port #1 (802.3af/at), the DC jack or the 2-pin terminal. A 24V 1.5A adapter is included.
• Runs RouterOS v7: 1 GB DDR4 RAM, 1 GB NAND storage and a USB 3.0 port for extras. No battery is built in.
• Rack-friendly: with the mounting accessories, four units fit in a single 1U space. The case acts as a heat-sink, and the operating range is -40°C to 60°C.

Best for home labs, small offices and server rooms that need a wired router with serious routing power. Note that it has no Wi-Fi, so pair it with an access point if you need wireless.
