The Philips Series 5000 HR3745/00 is a 450 W hand mixer that handles everyday whisking and mixing without a fuss. If you want a cheap way to upgrade from a basic mixer, it's a great deal: turbo mode, five speeds and stainless steel blades from a brand you know.

Mix faster, tidy up quicker

• 450 W motor with 5 speeds, from gentle stirring to faster whipping.
• Turbo mode gives an instant power boost when the mixture gets thick.
• Stainless steel blades and an eject button for easy, hands-off removal.
• 1.2 m cord with cord storage lets you work comfortably and keep the mixer tidy in a drawer.

A good fit for home bakers, first kitchens and anyone who whips cream, beats eggs or mixes batter for up to 3 L bowls. Note that the parts are not dishwasher-safe, so plan on a quick hand wash.
