The ultrasonic module detects carpet under the robot, and the machine uses it to lift the mop and add suction. If the robot has started dragging a wet cloth across rugs, or no longer ramps up on pile, this is the module to check. It faces down at the floor, so start by clearing dust and hair off its window.
