TP-LINK EAP225 Access Point, AC1350 Dual-Band, MU-MIMO, PoE

The TP-LINK EAP225 is a ceiling-ready dual-band access point that gives a home, shop or small office steadier Wi-Fi without extra hardware. If you want a cheap way to fix weak spots, this is a great deal on a proper access point rather than another range extender.

More devices online, fewer dropouts

• Dual-band 802.11ac: up to 450 Mbit/s on 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbit/s on 5 GHz, so phones, laptops and smart devices can each use the band that suits them.
• MU-MIMO: serves several devices at once instead of making them queue.
• PoE in: one Ethernet cable carries both data and power, so you don't need a socket next to the mounting spot.
• Gigabit LAN port: a 10/100/1000 Mbit/s RJ-45 port keeps the wired link from becoming the bottleneck.

A good fit for offices, cafés, small shops and larger homes where one router can't cover every room. It has 5 internal antennas, so there are no external aerials to get in the way. Buy it if you already have PoE or plan to add it.
