TP-LINK RE300 Mesh Wi-Fi Extender, AC1200 Dual Band 802.11ac

The TP-LINK RE300 is a Mesh Extender that pushes your existing Wi-Fi into the dead spots at home, and it's a cheap way to fix weak signal without replacing your router. It's a great deal if you want better coverage for the price of a single add-on.

Fill the gaps, skip the rewiring

• Dual band 2.4GHz/5GHz: use the band that suits each device, with the 5GHz band handling the faster connections.
• Up to 300+867 Mbit/s: 802.11ac speeds for streaming, video calls and browsing in rooms that used to struggle.
• 2 internal antennas: a clean, compact design with nothing sticking out.
• Mesh Extender family: built to extend an existing wireless network rather than replace it.

Note that it has no Ethernet LAN port, no MU-MIMO and no PoE, so it is a wireless-only solution. It suits flats and houses with a weak corner, a far bedroom or a home office where the router signal fades.
