Description
An external enclosure turns an M.2 NVMe SSD into a fast portable drive: the SSD goes into the enclosure and connects to the computer over USB-C. It is a good use for an SSD left over from a laptop upgrade, for backups or carrying large files.
The aluminium enclosure is designed to shed heat, with an extra cooling plate and thermal pad inside. Write protection is switched on with a dedicated switch.
