Transcend ESD300 2 TB external SSD, USB-C, silver

The Transcend ESD300 is the maker's smallest portable SSD, a flash-drive-sized unit that slips easily into a pocket. It has a 10 Gbit/s transfer rate, and SLC caching lifts read speeds to 1050 MB/s and write speeds to 950 MB/s. Capacity is 2 TB.

The USB-C plug connects directly to USB-C devices; the maker says the drive also works with USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports, only more slowly. It comes formatted in exFAT, which both Windows and macOS can use.
