What each accessory is for

• Pedestal. If the charger cannot go on a wall, it is mounted on a pedestal — in a car park, by the driveway or in front of the house. The pedestal has a foundation or ground anchor.
• Cable holder and dock. The cable is wound on a hook and the plug sits in a dock, so the cable does not lie in snow or mud.
• RFID card or key. Charging starts only with a card, which matters in a shared or company car park.
• Load management. A meter or current transformers measure household consumption and the charger lowers its power so the main fuse does not trip.
• RCBO. Protects the charger's supply line from overcurrent and residual current — an electrician chooses and fits it.

Compatibility

Pedestals, adapter plates and load-management devices are made for specific chargers. Each product states which charger it fits.
