How to choose a paper shredder
- Security level. P-3 cross-cut is fine for home, P-4 and above for sensitive documents.
- Capacity. How many sheets per pass and how long it runs continuously.
- Bin volume. A bigger bin means less frequent emptying; for offices choose 20+ litres.
- Extras. Many models also shred credit cards and staples.
